New Studio

At the end of 2021, I moved from the west of Scotland cross country to Angus in the North east.  Once settled in our new house, the next thing on the “to do” list was the transformation of the garage into a studio/workroom for me.

Having found a local joiner, partition walls were put up, new windows put in, electrics upgraded, a sink installed and of course lots and lots of painting.

I’m over the moon with the result, which is light and airy and gives me so much room to spread myself about and be as messy as I want.  At the back of the studio, I’ve got lovely views over the countryside which is ever changing, depending what is being grown and the season.  To the side, the other window faces a greenhouse and lets in a lot of sunlight in the afternoon, so it’s a pleasure to be in the space.
